Here’s what went down in Episode 6 (titled “Blood Drenched Stone”) of History Channel’s Knightfall Season 2.

King Philip (Ed Stoppard) is continuing to perpetuate the rumour that the Knights Templar are a bunch of dicks in the latest episode of Knightfall. He sends the new Pope (Stephen Fewell) with some pretty lies about how there will be a reasonable inquisition into the charges against the Templars and how they will all be treated fairly in the lead up to the hearing.

Grand Master Molay (Matthew Marsh) totally falls for the bullshit and agrees to surrender. However, he does allow his fellow Templars to make up their own minds after Landry (Tom Cullen) cracks the shits. As a result of this, a small group leaves with Molay and the rest stay inside the Chartres Temple.

Philip is royally pissed when he discovers that Landry has stayed behind and sets out blowing up the temple. Landry counterattacks by blowing up the badly protected cart of black powder.

Meanwhile, Prince Louis (Tom Forbes) shows up and has a whole conversation with his bad that is based entirely on bullshit. Which, I guess is fair considering Philip has been lying to Louis about killing his mum, Queen Joan (Olivia Ross). Louis goes on about how he killed Eve and how much he hates Landry. So, when he says he will exact revenge on the man who killed Joan, Philip is smiling like a fool and thinking that Louis is still totally on his side.

While Landry has screwed up the king’s plans by destroying most of the black powder, Philip is not dismayed and has a siege tower built. Once again, Landry gets the upper hand and sneaks out at night to torch the tower. Unfortunately, though, one of his brothers gets captured and, after seeing Philip’s torture methods on Molay, immediately gives up the location of the top secret sally port.

Which King Philip blows up.

Fuck! Now his army is inside the Chartres Temple and it is all going to shit.

Landry sights Philip when he enters the fray and crash-tackles him. Unfortunately for Landry, though, the king manages to get the upper hand and Landry’s brothers lay down their weapons rather than see the king slit Landry’s throat.

Double fuck.

While all of this is going on, King Philip’s daughter, Princess Isabella (Genevieve Gaunt) is having a fun little tea party with Princess Margaret (Clementine Nicholson). Not only does she cook up a cracking meal but she invites a couple of lads along for a good time. Apparently, Isabella is being watched by her father and where better to have a threesome than Margaret’s chambers?

Except that the threesome is just a ruse and Isabella has actually drugged Margaret and is setting it up so that it looks like she is the one getting lucky on the side. I have no idea why she is fucking her sister-in-law over like this but I guess we will find out more in Episode 7 of Knightfall Season 2.
